ABOUT ME
Caroline Hippler LCPC, NCC
With me, therapy is a space where all parts of you are welcome — no need to perform, explain everything, or have it all figured out.
I believe you are the expert in your own experience. In our work together, I’ll walk alongside you, offering grounded support, thoughtful reflection, and strategies to help you move toward greater self-understanding and self-compassion.
Together, we’ll decide what therapy looks like for you — no assumptions, no agenda.
Our work is shaped by a deep belief in equity, dignity, and care that honors the whole of who you are.
I come to this practice with a long-standing commitment to anti-oppressive and gender-affirming care, and I’ve spent years walking alongside LGBTQ+ adults — especially trans and nonbinary clients — through trauma, transition, and the ongoing work of becoming.
Have you been holding more than anyone realizes?
Maybe you’re the one who keeps everything running — at work, at home, in your relationships. You show up. You push through. You hold it together.
But lately, you might be feeling the cost: tension in your body, a constant hum of anxiety, a sense of disconnection from your own needs.
Maybe you're wondering how it got this way — and what it might look like to come back to yourself.
What happens when you slow down long enough to ask: What am I carrying? And what’s mine to keep?
In therapy, we’ll slow down and listen together.
We’ll get curious about how your past shaped the roles you take on today. We’ll explore the stories you’ve absorbed, the strategies that helped you survive — and gently ask whether they’re still serving you now.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
— Carl Rogers
My Approach
Healing is a paradox: we learn to accept ourselves exactly as we are, while also growing into the fullest version of who we want to be.
Our work may blend a range of approaches — including EMDR, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, DBT skills, and somatic practices. We’ll center your values, your pace, and your strengths. Self-compassion and intention are at the heart of my work.
This practice is here for you if you’ve been living in survival mode for too long. It’s here for you if you’re tired of pretending to be fine. And it’s here for you if you want to reconnect with joy, with agency, and with the truth of who you are.
There is nothing more powerful than knowing yourself — and choosing to act on that knowledge.
I’d be honored to support you in that process.
