Grow into the clinician you’re becoming.
Supervision is more than checking boxes, reviewing diagnoses, or making sure you know what to do next.
It’s a space to slow down, think deeply, ask questions, and develop your own clinical voice. It’s where you can bring the cases that feel complicated, the moments that leave you wondering if you got it right, and the parts of the work that stay with you after the session ends. I offer thoughtful, collaborative clinical supervision for emerging and developing clinicians at a variety of stages in their careers. My approach is grounded in curiosity, clinical depth, self-awareness, and a belief that good supervision should help you become more of yourself as a clinician - not a version of your supervisor.

I won’t pretend there is always one right way to approach a client or a clinical moment.
Instead, we’ll explore what you’re noticing, what you’re wondering about, what might be happening beneath the surface, and how your own experiences and assumptions may be entering the room. We’ll talk about interventions and theory, but we’ll also talk about the relationship, the context, your clinical instincts, and the places where you feel uncertain.
My goal is to help you develop the capacity to think clinically and trust yourself while you’re doing it.
Supervision may include:

"I am immensely grateful for Caroline's supervision. Caroline created a supportive and educational environment that made me excited about challenges and comfortable asking for guidance.”

~ MK, former supervisee
I offer supervision for clinicians supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, including transgender and nonbinary clients.
This can include developing a genuinely affirming clinical practice, navigating questions around gender identity and transition, supporting clients through minority stress and family dynamics, and thinking thoughtfully about letters and documentation when they are part of a client’s care.
Gender-affirming supervision isn’t simply about learning the “right” language. It’s about developing the clinical awareness to understand the individual in front of you, recognize the impact of stigma and systems on their experience, and provide care that respects their autonomy and expertise.
I also offer supervision for clinicians working with trauma survivors and clients whose histories show up in complex ways in the therapy room.
We can explore trauma responses, attachment and relational patterns, dissociation, nervous system responses, pacing and readiness, boundaries, and the balance between helping clients move toward meaningful change without pushing them beyond what they are ready for.
My approach draws from trauma-informed practice, EMDR, mindfulness, DBT, ACT, IFS, and narrative approaches. Supervision can help you integrate these perspectives without feeling like you need to fit every client into a single model.
These are often the places where some of the most meaningful clinical learning happens.
I want supervision to be a place where you can bring those things without needing to perform competence first.

My role isn’t to hand you answers from above. It’s to help you become a more thoughtful, grounded, self-aware clinician who can find your way through complexity.
We’ll make room for curiosity, uncertainty, humor, mistakes, and growth—because becoming a good therapist is not about never getting it wrong.
It’s about learning how to notice, reflect, repair, and keep going.

“Caroline possesses a rare combination of intellectual rigor and genuine warmth; she is an exceptionally thorough teacher who ensures her supervisees not only understand the 'how' of clinical work but the deep 'why' behind every decision.”

I support clinicians at a variety of stages, including:
Supervision can be structured around your licensure requirements, your professional development goals, or a combination of both.
I have been working as a therapist since 2013 and have been independently licensed since 2016. I became a Board Certified Supervisor in 2022. My clinical background includes individual therapy with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, identity, relationships, and the complicated experience of looking like you have it all together while feeling very different on the inside.
My supervision style is collaborative, relational, and grounded. I bring clinical experience and expertise to the relationship while recognizing that you are the expert on your own development.
We’ll work together to strengthen your clinical skills while also paying attention to the person behind the clinician—the values, beliefs, reactions, strengths, and growing edges that inevitably become part of the work.
